A very warm welcome to all future Year 7 students at The Sutton Academy!

Here at The Sutton Academy, we understand that your move to secondary school is a big step. Right now, you are probably feeling a mixture of both nerves and excitement about starting at the academy, but please be reassured that you are not the only one. Every other person in your year group will be feeling exactly the same way – trust us!

The best advice we can give you is to get involved in academy life right away. The more time you spend here, the more confident you will feel when it is time to make the move.

To help you do this, we have created a variety of exciting opportunities for you to visit the academy and get to know some teachers before you even start here.

We know that students start to think about secondary school long before they are in Year 6, which is why we offer our partner primary programme from year 3.
