Listening Ear is a registered charity and counselling service and is the first service in Merseyside to achieve Accredited status with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with the children’s service achieving accreditation in 2019. | |

Barnardo’s St Helens Resilience Service |

The Resilience Service supports secondary aged young people in St Helens with their emotional wellbeing and resilience. We have a designated therapist or mental health practitioner attached to each of the secondary schools in St Helens (including Rainford, Billinge, Newton le Willows and Haydock) and they deliver drop ins, group work and 1 to 1 Brief therapy. The group work will include the Decider Life Skills course, managing anxiety group, resilience building and workshops designed around what young people need. | |

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) |

CAMHS stands for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. CAMHS is the NHS mental health services for children and young people. CAMHS support covers depression, problems with food and eating, self-harm, abuse, violence or anger, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and anxiety, and other difficulties. The first step to getting help from CAMHS is usually getting a referral for a CAMHS assessment. This referral can come from parents/carers and a GP. |

Home-start St.Helens |

Being a parent/carer has never been easy. It can be a lonely, frustrating and overwhelming experience. Home-Start St. Helens have a team of volunteers who have parenting and life experiences. We are currently offering: Home visiting support families with a child aged 0-19 (25 years with additional needs) Support is tailored to meet the needs of a family offering a variety of practical and emotional support. Volunteers support and work with families to build on their strengths helping to make a difference. Young Peoples Project Aged 12-19 years – Young people can feel overwhelmed with life’s expectations.
