Alumni Inspire Year 10

On Wednesday 17 July, we welcomed back alumni students who joined the Sixth Form Leadership Team to engage with our Year 10 students. The event was a tremendous success, offering the younger students a comprehensive glimpse into their future academic journey.

The day began with insightful talks from our alumni and the Sixth Form Leadership Team. These sessions provided valuable perspectives on the benefits and challenges of Sixth Form education, inspiring our Year 10 students to consider their own aspirations.

Following the talks, the Year 10 students enjoyed lunch in the Sixth Form centre. This break allowed them to mingle and discuss their thoughts while experiencing the welcoming environment of the Sixth Form facilities.

The highlight of the day was the Sixth Form subject fayre. Here, Year 10 students explored the diverse range of courses on offer and had the chance to speak directly with Sixth Form teachers. This interactive session helped them gain a deeper understanding of the subjects available and the opportunities they present.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our alumni, the Sixth Form Leadership Team, and all the teachers who contributed to making this day so informative and exciting. The experience has undoubtedly inspired our Year 10 students and provided them with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their future.
