Today, students at the academy had the privilege of hearing from Paul Hannaford, a former addict who shared his personal journey and the dangers associated with addiction, gangs, knife crime, and county lines. His talk was aimed at Year 9, 10, and 11 students, providing them with a raw and honest perspective on these critical issues.
Drawing from over 20 years of personal experience, his message was both eye-opening and inspiring. He highlighted the severe consequences of substance abuse and criminal involvement, emphasising the importance of making positive choices.
