Year 9 University Visit
Year 9 Students Gain Insight into University Life at Edge Hill University
On Friday 14 February, our Year 9 students had the exciting opportunity to visit Edge Hill University as part of their Options process. The visit provided them with invaluable insights into the life of a university student and the achievements required to pursue Higher Education across various courses.
During the visit, students were guided on a comprehensive campus tour by current university students. They explored the state-of-the-art facilities that Edge Hill University has to offer, from modern lecture halls to advanced research labs. This first hand experience aimed to inspire and motivate the students as they prepare to embark on their journey to Key Stage 4 (KS4).
The visit not only highlighted the academic expectations but also showcased the vibrant campus life, helping students envision their future in Higher Education. It was an inspiring day that will hopefully encourage our Year 9 students to set their sights high and work diligently towards their goals.
