Mock Interviews with Year 13

Last week, our Year 13 students had the invaluable opportunity to participate in mock interviews conducted by 17 staff members from Barclays Bank. This experience was designed to help students practice their interpersonal skills and navigate the interview process from start to finish.

From greeting a receptionist and signing in, to meeting their interviewer for the first time, students were able to engage in a realistic interview setting. They described, with examples, why they would be suitable for the role, utilising the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to provide in-depth answers.

Despite initial nerves, many students reported feeling well-prepared and reassured in their abilities, with some even enjoying the process. The feedback from Barclays has been overwhelmingly positive, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to their staff for taking the time to support our students.
