Students complete their Food Practicals
Students in Year 10 and 11 complete their NCFE Food Practicals.
Throughout last week, students in Year 10 and Year 11 have been working extremely hard to complete their practical examination in food.
Year 11 students had to plan an International menu based on a country of their choice. They had to prepare and make the dishes on the menu, demonstrating how to prepare themselves and the environment for cooking. Using cooking skills to make their dishes whilst demonstrating safe and hygenic working practices throughout.
Year 10 students had to plan and prepare six separate dishes including pasta, pastry, fruit, vegetarian, meat and a curry dish.
All students have done an amazing job with some mouth watering dishes being produced.
