On Monday 18 March, our Year 7 & 8 boys performed brilliantly in the Merseyside Schools Indoor Athletics Final against the best 15 schools in the county.

Here's how they got on in the track events:

Year 7

Kallum Cunningham - 1^st in the 6 lap race,4^th in the obstacle relay
Max Rooney - 1^st in the 2 lap race,1^st in the 8 lap paarluf
Max Morgan - 1^st in the 4 lap race, 1^st in the 8 lap paarluf
Tommy Unsworth - 4^th in the obstacle relay, 5^th in the 4 lap race, and 3^rd in the 2 lap relay
Eddie Grace - 4^th in the obstacle relay
Noah Brennan - 3^rd in the 2 lap relay
Radley Tabern - 5^th in the 2 lap race, 3^rd in the 2 lap relay
Harvey Chembini-Yeo - 4^th in the obstacle relay, 3^rd in the 2 lap relay

Year 8

Kevin Obi - 5^th in the obstacle relay, 3^rd in the 2 lap race, 6^th in the 2 lap relay
Rhys Cottle - 5^th in the obstacle, 6^th in the 2 lap relay
Jack Burnett - 3^rd in the 4 lap race, 5^th in the paarluf
Kobi Greenall - 5^th in the obstacle relay, 6^th in the 2 lap relay
Callum Morgan - 4th in the 4 lap race, 5^th in the paarluf
Alfie Robinson - 5^th in the 2 lap race, 6^th in the 2 lap relay
Jamie White - 5^th in the obstacle relay, 4^th in the 6 lap race
Tyler Preston - field events only

The boys also performed in a variety of field events - standing long jump, triple jump, vertical jump, speed bounce and shot putt.
