The Sutton Academy Open Evening

We are delighted to invite Years 5 & 6 parents/carers to our annual Open Evening, which will be held on Thursday 19 September between 6.00pm and 8.00pm.

During the event there will be the opportunity to hear from the academy Principal; Mr Willerton, who will give a presentation outlining our vision and ethos here at the academy. There will be two presentations; the first at 6.00pm and the second at 7.00pm. There will also be the opportunity to have a tour of the academy given by our student guides, and to see first-hand the excellent facilities we have. Students will be able to participate in learning activities in all curriculum areas, and those who attend will receive an academy gift bag and be entered into our £100 prize draw.

The Sutton Academy has been awarded a ‘Good’ judgement by Ofsted across all areas; which is very much a testament to the hard work and dedication of all our staff. Our Summer 2024 examination results place us in the top two schools in St Helens, and we will also be within the top group of schools nationally with a similar intake. That being said; we recognise success is not just about exam performance, and we work hard to develop our four key values in students of being kind, resilient, reflective and part of our community.

We are very proud of our academy and hope that you will take the opportunity to attend this event. If you are unable to attend due to prior commitments; but would still like to visit us, please contact the academy office and we can arrange for a tour with a member of our Leadership Team.
