Aspire to Be an Electrical Engineer26.01.2017
On Wednesday, 18th December, a student of electrical engineering at Liverpool John Moores University visited the academy to give a presentation to a group of students about what led him into this career.
He is currently doing a placement year at Sellafield, which is a company responsible for safely delivering decommissioning, reprocessing and nuclear waste management activities on behalf of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. He chatted to students about how he got into engineering and the qualifications needed to become an electrical engineer. He also talked about his future career plans including travelling and using his degree worldwide.
